Bankruptcy Education

What is bankruptcy all about?

You’ll learn everything you need to know through CCCS’s Bankruptcy Education Program. You can take it by mail, phone, in-person, and soon online. Our educators interact with you and other participants, ensuring maximum benefit for each enrollee.

Our counselors and educators complete training and pass tests related to personal finance, credit, bankruptcy, and housing. Each counselor earns certification from the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. These high standards of certification assure you that you’re receiving solid, trustworthy education regarding bankruptcy.

On completing the program, you’ll receive a certificate allowing you to proceed with the bankruptcy discharge process.

Please note that we do not give any legal advice. If you have legal questions, you should contact an attorney. CCCS is approved to issue certificates evidencing completion of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a Provider’s services.
