Bankruptcy Education

You’ll learn everything you need to know about bankruptcy through CCCS’s Bankruptcy Education Program.

Our counselors complete training and pass tests related to personal finance, credit, bankruptcy, and housing. Each counselor earns certification from the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. These high standards of certification assure you that you’re receiving solid, trustworthy education regarding bankruptcy.

You may complete bankruptcy education by self-study materials through the mail or online. Upon completing the program, your attorney will receive a certificate allowing you to proceed with the bankruptcy discharge process.

Please note that we do not give any legal advice. If you have legal questions, you should contact an attorney. CCCS is approved to issue certificates evidencing completion of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a Provider’s services.
