Ready to buy a home, but don't know where to start?

Family photo with recently purchased house.Opening the Door to Homeownership is exactly what you need to make the home buying process simpler and easier to understand. This course will help you determine whether you are ready for homeownership and prepare you for all aspects of purchasing a home. You’ll get information about what is involved when buying a home including the kinds of loan programs available, what lenders consider when deciding if you are a creditworthy buyer, and types of fees included in the process.

Make sure you are prepared financially to handle a mortgage before you purchase a home. This program includes follow-up financial counseling with a certified credit counseling agency. Over a six month period, the majority of our clients experience a 10% reduction in debt, 10% increase in savings and credit score.

Classes are limited to 20 and fill up quickly. Classes are held at the Mead Public Library in Sheboygan.  Lunch is included in the cost. Participants will receive a workbook and a certificate upon completion.

Our goal is to make certain you are mortgage and home ready!
